Our Topic for tonightHow to make new friends in big cities. As we grow up and move along the corridors of life, past school and university, past internships and those crazy parties at someone's apartments until 4 am on a Tuesday, our friend network gets smaller and smaller. Yes, there are those who lived all their lives in one city, who never had to leave behind a life time worth of friends, but there are also those who Teresa May doesn't like - the global citizens, the people who's rental agreements never go longer than 2 years, the nomads.

So what do you do then? How can you build meaningful relationships when you are constantly on the move? How do you connect with someone when you are barely scrapping some time for yourself? What do you do when your calendars are always out of sync with your friends? How do you catch up with them?

Lets talk about all of that and more and share good ideas and solutions!

See you all outside your comfort zones!

Where? The Waterway, 54 Formosa St, London W9 2JU

When? 24th of October, arriving at 7:00 PM  Food on the table 7:30 PM

What is a Smart Dinner: It is a nice opportunity to get together in a small group of people (8 max) from all walks of life that are united by their passion for a specific topic. After a brief introduction from everyone - we will dive into our love for that evening's topic. We dont have to all be experts in the topic - but we can collectively share all our knowledge on the subject and at the end of the dinner we will all be smarter about it!

Moderation and special guests:  There will be minimal moderation. There is always a chance we will have a subject matter expert guests (I will try to invite 1 such expert per event)  who will weigh in on the conversation and share some of their knowledge with us but the whole idea is to have everyone share their thoughts, experiences and ideas on the topic and not just listen to speeches.

How much does it cost? We will charge a very symbolic amount of 8£ to reserve your seat at the table. This will cover our starters and will be a little treat from the chef. Anything else you want to eat on the day - is up to you. Treat it as a normal going out to a restaurant.
